Hey Reader,

I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on something special, and I am incredibly excited to finally share this announcement with my newsletter family first.

My brand-new single, "Compass," is officially dropping everywhere on July 7, 2026, at 9:30 AM AEST!

If you’ve been looking for a fresh, feel-good soundtrack to jumpstart your mood, this track was made for you. Sonically, I wanted to lean into a contemporary dance-pop and rhythmic soul-pop lane. It sits at a perfectly danceable mid-tempo 110 BPM, built around a bouncy synth bassline, crisp percussion, and some clean electric guitar accents that give it a really polished, warm studio vibe.

Vocally, I went for a brighter, more optimistic energy, blending a breathy, conversational delivery with an effortless swagger. It’s warm, intimate, and designed to be an absolute earworm that you'll be humming along to in no time.

Finding Your Frequency

Conceptually, "Compass" is a vulnerable yet vibrant tribute to that one person who clears out all the background noise in your life. It’s about moving past those messy, gray chapters where you're overthinking every single move, and finally tuning into a brighter, clearer frequency.

I wanted to capture that highly relatable feeling of worrying about where you're headed, only to look across the table and realize your destination is already right in front of you. At its core, the song is about how a single smile can become your ultimate guide, always pointing you toward better days and home.
